Privacy Policy
How InboxTron collects, uses, stores, and protects information.
Last updated: October 3, 2026
InboxTron is a programmable email service for AI agents and applications. This Privacy Policy explains the information we process when you use InboxTron and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create and use an InboxTron account, including your name, email address, account settings, subscription status, and information associated with mailboxes and custom domains you configure.
If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information made available through the authentication flow, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier. InboxTron does not use Google authentication to read your Gmail inbox.
InboxTron processes email content necessary to provide the service, including sender and recipient addresses, subject lines, message bodies, headers, timestamps, delivery information, and attachments when applicable.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser information, request logs, API activity, authentication events, error logs, and service usage counts.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve InboxTron; authenticate users; deliver and process email; provide MCP and REST API functionality; manage custom domains; enforce usage limits; prevent abuse; provide customer support; and administer subscriptions.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Email and agent data
InboxTron is designed to receive, store, search, send, and reply to email on behalf of users, applications, and AI agents. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of InboxTron and the data you send to the service is lawful and that you have any permissions or notices required for that data.
Email content is processed only as necessary to operate the service, provide requested functionality, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.
4. Payments
Payments and subscription billing are processed by Stripe. InboxTron does not store your full payment-card number. Stripe may collect and process payment and billing information under its own privacy practices.
5. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate InboxTron. These may include Amazon Web Services for email and infrastructure services, MongoDB Atlas for database hosting, Stripe for billing, Google for authentication, and hosting or infrastructure providers used to run the application.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own terms and privacy obligations.
6. Cookies and sessions
InboxTron uses cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session management, security, and core application functionality. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics to understand product usage if analytics are enabled.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain account and service data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide InboxTron, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.
Messages moved to Trash may be permanently deleted after the service's stated retention period. Some operational logs, billing records, backups, or security records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.
You may contact us to request deletion of your account or personal information, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and billing retention requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information processed by InboxTron. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials, API tokens, domain configuration, and connected systems.
9. International processing
InboxTron and its service providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, information may therefore be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
10. Children's privacy
InboxTron is a developer and business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental consent would be required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as InboxTron changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
